Who We Are
At Little Footprints Schoolhouse, we are a local childcare center
that strives to provide informative programs that encourage your child's growth. We are a locally owned preschool and daycare center serving the Northshore Area. We are licensed for only 30 children and keep our classes small to provide effective learning. Our goal is for our schoolhouse to become your child's home away from home.
Children do their most important learning by the age of five. We have an academic preschool curriculum along with learning centers, computers, and special extracurricular activities to make our preschool a happy place to be for all children with many learning opportunities.
From the time your child is a toddler, we begin building cognitive, language, motor, social, and self-esteem skills. This will help them to develop a strong start in their educational pathway and start school with confidence. They will have both, the social and educational skills, needed to be successful in their new journey.
With the help of our highly trained teachers and age-appropriate curriculum, your child will learn, play, and explore their world around them, learn the skills and confidence to develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.
We understand each parent's concern for the care and safety of their children, so we feel it is important to maintain our "open door" policy. Parents are always welcome.
Owner/Director
The staff of Little Footprints has experience and training working with young children. Our staff receives training in child CPR and first aid. Teachers and aides complete over 15 hours of continuing education during the year covering various early childhood education and child development topics. We have experienced teachers on staff in early childhood education, elementary education, child development, or equivalent.
